Hemp and us

The story so far..

After leaving University, (where he spent more time cooking than studying!), Tom founded Themptation with the aim of bringing hemp to the forefront of British food culture.

Testing his product ideas at markets across London, it became apparent there was a gap in the market for Themptation and its hemp based goodies. Tom whipped up a variety of products, from hemp chocolate to fresh hemp hummus and pesto.

This unique range of products promotes the health benefits of hemp while providing London with a delicious alternative to readily available processed foods.

From its market stall origins, the business moved rapidly online, while supplying local stores and an ever-growing list of stockist across the UK.

In October 2017 we expanded our hemp kitchen to the unique and truly beautiful setting of Trevibban Mill Vineyard near Padstow, Cornwall. Solar panels now provide all of our energy and we are able to compost all our food waste to feed the vineyard's kitchen garden.

You can now find our products stocked in over 75 stores nationwide and we are now able to post out our fresh hemp hummus & pesto to all corners of the UK.

Our Code:

Without our morals, we would be nothing. Thats why ALL of our products are vegan, made in small batches with pure hemp love, nut free & we are proudly certified Organic with the Soil Association. All our core hemp is sourced organically from the EU.

There is enough waste in the world so 100% of our packaging is either fully compostable or recyclable.

2019 is set to be a big year so join us on our hemp journey and get involved! We love to hear from you - tweet, insta or facebook us with pics!

Our allergen declaration

We produce everything in our vegan, nut/soy/gluten free kitchen, however we cannot (and would not) want to guarantee our suppliers ingredients do not contain traces of the above. If you have any questions please email us.

Big Love from #hemp HQ
